Community Support Center (CSC) Charter
This activity will facilitate the provision of Support on the Open Science Grid
for those entities that do not have a Support Center and are thus not
explicitly included in the
OSG
Operations Model. There are three components to the activity:
Design and Infrastructure
- Management: leadership and process
- Support mechanisms
- Community discussion (lists/bulletin boards/chat rooms)
- Dedicated issue tracking (roundup/bugzilla/etc)
- Knowledgebase generation from support mechanisms
- Scope: will be completed when Deployment commences
Deployment
- Documentation for new OSG users
- Marketing and Advertising
- Scope: will be completed when Operations commences
Operations
- Support mechanism maintenance
- Scope: Ongoing
